Herbalife Family Foundation Establishes Casa Herbalife Program in Iceland
LOS ANGELES, Nov 24, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) — The Herbalife Family Foundation established its first Casa Herbalife program in Iceland through a partnership with Gotusmijan ehf, a youth center located in Reykjavik.
Gotusmijan, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, assists young people between the ages of 15-20 years, who are seeking treatment for drug abuse and petty crime.
The HFF grant will go towards the organization’s annual food budget, to help provide nutritious meal choices for the children.
This is the 37th Casa Herbalife program established worldwide. After the initial grant, local independent Herbalife distributors support the program with volunteerism and fundraising.
HFF is a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation dedicated to improving children’s lives by helping organizations provide healthy nutrition to children at risk. Additionally, HFF often supports relief efforts in response to natural disasters.
