Niteworks Anti Oxidants & L-arginine may improve Atletic performance

Reinforcement with a mixture of antioxidants and L-arginine may support nitric oxide activity and exercise performance in older sportsmen, according to a new study out of the School of California LA ( J Intl Soc Sports Nutr. 2010. Analysts from UCLA’s Center for Human Nourishment randomized sixteen male cycle riders ( ages fifty to 73 ) to get a fake pill powder or exclusive powder supplement L-arginine, L-taurine, L-citrulline, vitamins C and E, and alpha lipoic acid ( as Niteworks, from Herbalife Maximal incremental exercise testing was performed at baseline, week one and week 3.

Subjects on the active intervention showed an increase of anaerobic threshold by 16.7 % at week one, which was sustained at week three ; there were no changes in anaerobic threshold in the fake pill subjects. There were no changes in either group in VO2 max. The analysts concluded the mix of antioxidants and L-arginine could improve exercise performance.
