Latterly Yahoo’s page 1 news featured a twenty year study on 4 habits : smoking, drinking too much, inactivity and unsatisfactory diet.
Those habits swing your effective age by as much as twelve years!
This report had some superb news :
1. Non-smokers and previous smokers, and
2. Folk who drink less than two drinks / day,
3. Those that get two hours of exercise per week, and 4. Those that eat *any* sort of fruit, vegetable or juice 3X / day… …
are literally 4 TIMES less sure to die than folks with the opposite behaviors and live twelve years more.
The even better stories is:
you do not have to get it perfect all of the time. Doing three out of four much of the time places you in healthy company. You can handle one or two drinks now and then.
And just cuz you have one couch-potato week doesn’t mean that you have to make listlessness a life habit. Minor deviations are fine so long as your daily habits are healthy.
Now what would be interesting to know is how much improvement it would make if you also were taking nutritional supplements like Herbalife on a daily basis.
